Subaru Trailseeker and Subaru Uncharted mark Subaru’s move into fully electric adventure vehicles while staying true to the brand’s rugged, outdoors-ready identity. Inspired by models like the Subaru Outback and Subaru Crosstrek, the Trailseeker is a larger dual-motor AWD crossover producing 375 horsepower with about 420 kilometres of range, strong performance, generous cargo space, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance for off-pavement capability. The smaller Uncharted offers a more city-friendly alternative with a choice of a 221 horsepower front-wheel-drive setup delivering roughly 480 kilometres of range or a 338 horsepower dual-motor AWD version with about 460 kilometres of range, while maintaining the same adventurous ground clearance. Both models feature modern interiors with large 14-inch touchscreens and come standard with Subaru EyeSight driver-assistance technology, combining electric efficiency with the practicality and capability Subaru owners expect.
In many ways, the Trailseeker and the Uncharted embody Subaru’s careful evolution. The 2026 Toyota bZ receives a meaningful update, starting with a simplified name that drops the “4X” and a refreshed front fascia inspired by the Toyota Prius. More importantly, the electric crossover sees significant improvements in performance, range, and charging. The front-wheel-drive model now produces 168 horsepower, while the all-wheel-drive version jumps to a much stronger 338 horsepower. Driving range also improves, reaching up to 468 kilometres on the XLE AWD trim and about 380 kilometres for the FWD version. Fast-charging capability is quicker as well, with DC charging able to take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 20 minutes. Later on this year, Toyota will be introducing the bZ Woodland, with an extended wheelbase and body, roughly six inches longer and a bit taller than the standard bZ. The bZ Woodland is expected to have more than 850 litres of cargo space behind the rear seats, a 375-horsepower powertrain with up to 452 kilometres of range. Toyota even gives the Woodland up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, which means small campers, sled trailers, or a pair of dirt bikes will not be a problem.
Another exciting release from Toyota is the 2026 Toyota C-HR, returning as a fully electric crossover. It pairs its bold coupe-like styling with significantly improved performance, range, and technology. It is expected to offer a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 338 horsepower with a 0-100 km/h time of about five seconds, while a front-wheel-drive version with 221 horsepower prioritizes efficiency. A 77-kWh battery provides an estimated range of up to 496 km for the FWD model and about 465 km for AWD, with charging supported by the North American Charging Standard for access to Tesla Superchargers and DC fast charging up to 150 kW. The 2026 Lexus RZ receives major updates that significantly improve performance, range, and driving dynamics, making it one of the best options in the luxury EV segment. It now offers three powertrains: the front-wheel-drive RZ 350e with 224 horsepower, the dual-motor AWD RZ 450e with 313 horsepower, and the new range-topping RZ 550e F Sport AWD delivering 408 horsepower and a 0–100 km/h time of about four seconds. A larger 77-kWh battery increases estimated range to roughly 370–480 kilometres depending on the trim, while an upgraded 11-kW onboard charger shortens Level 2 charging times and improved software helps maintain stronger DC fast-charging performance.

2026 is a busy year for Porsche electrification, with two models in the pipeline. The upcoming Porsche Cayenne Electric brings supercar-level performance to an SUV, with the range-topping Turbo version producing an astonishing 1,139 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in the mid-two-second range. The standard model offers a still-impressive 435 horsepower and 616 lb-ft with an overboost function for extra launch power. Also arriving in 2026, the Porsche Macan GTS Electric is positioned as the performance “sweet spot,” pairing a dual-motor setup with Porsche’s most powerful rear-axle motor to produce 509 horsepower, or up to 563 horsepower with Launch Control, and 704 lb-ft of torque. This enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in about 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. A 100-kWh battery provides a WLTP range of up to 586 kilometres, while the 800-volt architecture supports ultra-fast charging at up to 270 kW, allowing a 10–80% recharge in roughly 21 minutes. Inside, the Macan GTS Electric features modern tech such as Porsche Digital Key, enhanced parking assist, AI-supported Voice Pilot, and updated infotainment with in-car gaming, underscoring how Porsche’s electric SUVs have evolved into fully realized performance vehicles that retain the Porsche DNA.
